Confess to a GDS: The Jamie Edition

Good morning, ladies and gents! 

Are you ready for more confessions from your favorite blogger friends?

Good, cuz I got some extra-special awesome-sauce to go with your blog feast today! 

Read on to find out 10 random facts about the lovely Jamie from Awesomely-Awkward:

Kristen: What's your motto in life?

Jamie: "Life's not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."...I don't always follow this. I am a stresser but it's always good to think about.

Kristen: What do you love most about blogging?

Jamie: Being able to talk. I talk a lot... mostly about random weird stuff. Now everyone can read it.

Kristen: Are you an early bird or a night owl? 

Jamie: Night owl! I hit snooze literally about 5 times before I can get out of bed in the morning. I even set two alarms. When it gets dark out I instantly have energy and run around my house like a mad women getting stuff done.

Kristen: What is your current obsession (food, product, TV show, etc.)? 

Jamie: Dr. Pepper (always), skull and glossbones nail polish (OPI), using all my new tools to make new jewelry.

Kristen: Most embarrassing moment? 

Jamie: Oh so many! Embarrassment follows me. Good thing I don't get embarrassed too easily. When I was younger though, I did sing about the puppy I wanted (quietly alone in my room). One night my dad hid in my closet to jump out and scare me (we have a weird relationship where we like to do mean things to each other), well I was singing about my imaginary puppy... until I hear my closet laughing. He was laughing so hard and I cried.... I still haven't got that puppy, dad.

Kristen: How do you destress?

Jamie: Two ways... I either crank my ipod in my car and go for a drive singing like a crazy person. Or I take a hot bubble bath and play some relaxing music.

Kristen: Habit you need to break?

Jamie: Currently breaking it now... smoking. Yeah it's gross... I get it.

Kristen: Would you rather live in the city, beach front, or mountains? 

Jamie: Is anywhere but Montana an option? I would love to live in a city and a beach front. I grew up in the mountains so I am kind of over them I guess.

Kristen: If you had a theme song, what would it be? 

Jamie: The future freaks me out by Motion City Soundtrack. It's weird a quirky... every time I walk into a room I should have that song play.

Kristen: Tell us a secret...
Jamie: I'm an open book so I don't have too many secrets. I'm not a great cook... I mess up mac and cheese sometimes. I would rather cut off my pinky than do laundry. I have about 100 pictures of my cat on my cell phone. Cool, right guys?

Oh, Jamie... you had me at your imaginary puppy song :)
