Before You Knew Me

Me pre-blogger days (2007)
Today I was inspired by Lindsey at Trial By Sapphire, who was inspired by Jenni at Story of My Life.

They both shared some of their older posts from when they first started blogging; the unread words that were written before the followers. When stats, sponsors, and answering emails weren't part of our blogging routine... before everything really began.

It's been a year and a half since I started this blog. On occasion I like to go back and read through the older posts; they remind me where I started and if I'm still leaving the impression I intended.

So I thought today I would do just that... highlight what I wrote about  before I referred to myself as a "blogger"... you just might learn a few things about me you didn't know before. Enjoy!

  1. I just started my little blog in January, so I haven't really gone back to look at any of my first posts yet. I hope I'm making the impression I want! It's hard to tell so early, though! I just started reading your blog a couple of days ago, so I'm off to read some of your older posts now :)

  6. I'm impressed that you're all brave enough to put your first posts out there! I don't know if I can bring myself to do that yet...though I have been finding myself going back through some of my favorite bloggers' first posts, just to see what they were like :)

Here's one that's very meaningful to me. I felt like I almost couldn't start blogging again until I got this off my chest:

  15. You just inspired me to look back at some of my first posts. Pretty much all of them were about some crafty thing I made or a dress I sewed for my (very little) Juniper! I so need to make more time to be crafty. I miss it.
