When I go shopping for clothes, I always ask myself three things before a purchase...
Is it unique?
Is it flattering?
Do I absolutely LOVE it?
I know a little place that is dangerously covered in "Yes!" to these questions...
That place would be Shabby Apple!
Maybe you've heard of it? ;)
It's an online boutique (with a fabulous website design, by the way) that has all kinds of gorgeous items including dresses, skirts, tops, jewelry and accessories. In addition they also have a swimwear section, fitness, maternity, kids, and even decor!
So let's go through my checklist here...
Is it unique? "YES!"
One thing I love about their style is it's totally retro! I'm always trying to give off that vintage vibe reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe (keyword: trying). Everything at Shabby Apple is classy and reminds me of the 50's and 60's, back when you didn't have to show off half your derrière to get attention. I think to be able to stand out in that way is the definition of unique... just look at this bathing suit!

Is it flattering? "YES!"
I'm not the smallest girl, I got some curves going on in my size 9/10 jeans, and although my hubby loves it, sometimes it's hard to find that perfect fit.I'm a strong believer in accenting my chest and waist for instant feminine flattery. Me and Shabby Apple are on the same page here. A lot of their options show off the collar bone and cinch the waist. I can see how they are designing for women of all sizes and not just models off the runway.
What I love most is their "Fit to Flatter" quiz that helps you define your shape and directs you straight to the items that were made to fit you. Is that genius, or what?

Do I absolutely LOVE it? "YES!"
When something is unique and flattering, plus has vibrant colors, gorgeous textures, and adorable patterns, it's kind of hard not to absolutely love it!
After going on a virtual window shopping spree at Shabby Apple, I noticed how versatile everything is... if I can see myself wearing it for a casual event, work day, date night, or a formal affair, you bet your butt I'm gonna love it!
