Me Myself & I Link Up!

The long awaited link up is finally here!!

I couldn't be more excited :)
I hope you all took some time to answer this month's 5 questions!
If you haven't already be sure to follow all of the hosts before linking up:

Danielle @ Framed Frosting

....annnnd here we go!

What is your biggest phobia?
Spiders. It's really, really bad you guys. I'm not even going to search for a photo because pictures of them give me the sweats. I swear they stalk me every where I go. You can say I'm spider-aware- I always check my surroundings to make sure there aren't any around. For example, if I leave a pair of pants on the ground and want to wear them again I have to shake them out viciously first, just to make sure there aren't any lurking. But I can't kill them... repeat. CAN'T. I swear, you guys, there is literally this force that holds me back, even as I have a shoe in my hand and I'm standing there for a good 10 minutes trying to build up courage. Solution? Spider spray. It's still scary seeing them run around until they slowly die (which I'm sorry to the Buddhists but I love when they die), but then the tough part... what to do with the creepy body? (OK I have to stop typing about spiders, I'm starting to feel things crawling all over me *looks around paranoid and itchy* ...told you it was bad.)

If you could relive any day of your life,
what would it be and why?
Image via
This is a really tough question!! I want to pick a day from every 5 years or so, but, honestly, nothing is better than being a kid. I would love to relive a day from when I was around 6 or 7 when me and my sisters would play house in our basement. The imagination we had was amazing. We would invite our friends over, make up scary situations, act them out, and then freak ourselves out because we were convinced it was really happening. We would come inside for dinner with grass stains on our knees and afterwards watch the newest episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark while eating popsicles. How awesome is that?

If you could choose to stay a certain age forever,
what age would it be?
Image via
I would say 25- the age I am right now. There are much less broken hearts and confusion from my adolescence, there's enough experience to know who I truly am and be myself, yet still a certain naivety about the world that lets me continue to embrace it. Dreams are still plentiful and the possibilities are open. I've learned from mistakes but have plenty more to make. Old enough to show maturity but young enough to still get ID'd. Yeah- 25 is a good age!

Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
image via
I've been told (although I'm not sure I agree with all of them) Liv Tyler, Sandra Bullock and Audrey Hepburn. Can't complain there- they are all classic beauties!

What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
image via
I kinda put these in sequential order...
1. "Paradise" by Coldplay - me as a little girl dreaming of Paradise
2. "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World - me growing up in school and figuring myself out
3. "First Day of My Life" by Bright Eyes - how I felt when I met Josh :)
4. "Danny's Song" by Anne Murray - how I feel every day with Josh and I trying to get by!
5. "Bittersweet Symphony" - me figuring out how life really is.
6. "Time" by Hootie in the Blowfish - how I felt a few years ago when I felt time slipping away
7. "Dreams" by The Cranberries - how I felt when I went back to school to reach my dreams
8. "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen - how I feel now that I'm finally in a good place

We want to know your answers!
Grab the code and link up- have fun with it!

P.S. If you have any questions that you'd liked asked in the future link ups, please fill out this formYou never know- you just might see your question in next months party! :)

  4. I think spiders is a really common fear. My boyfriend is so afraid of them too. He'll like run out of a room if he sees one. So basically I'm screwed every time I need someone to kill it for me. Hahah I actually had one in my shower once and none of my roommates would kill it and I couldn't kill it and so we actually went and knocked on doors to ask our neighbors if they could kill it for us. A nice young man did it for us lol. And you totally sounded like such a sadist when you said you loved to watch them die, hahahah.

Love your answers! I almost chose 25 for my age too, but decided to go a year older but the reasons are pretty much the same. I can definitely see the reason why you get resembled to those actresses. You definitely have a classic beauty to you. And LOVE your soundtrack. I also have "First Day of My Life" for when I met Justin :)

  27. Hi Kristen! I'm a Kristin also :) lol. I'm new to the linkup. I have to admit I'm not a big fan of spiders either..but living in the country has desensitized me to them a bit. I have no trouble smooshing them. ;) Happy Tuesday! Xo

  41. Following you now!
And spiders are my thing too! Eeek. You totally don't want to read my post from a couple weeks ago about finding a black widow AND a brown recluse in the same day! Not cool!

  42. I like to think that I have become tolerant to spiders since we started camping last summer - but it just isn't true. I effin' hate them. If they are in the room - I'll go sleep on the couch. I don't want it to crawl into my mouth while i am sleeping. Seriously - I am positive that's what they are after. They want to lay their babies in my belly. I want nothing to do with it.

  43. I LOVE Paradise. Para para paradise. Watching them play this song live was EPIC-ness.

I hate spiders too. When I see them at work, i just step on them. But funny thing is when I see those LONG-Legged one at home, I freak out. They're just plain UGLY!

    new follower! yay.

  47. Hiya!

I'm all linked up and am your newest follower! Love this idea so much ...

How weird, we have almost the same day we want to re-live in our lives ... when we were kids and didn't have a care in the world and played pretend. Those were such special, happy days.

Great soundtrack. Jimmy Eat World's The Middle is one of my favourites for sure and so true for that time in our lives:)

  49. I laughed at your spider thing, because I am exactly the same. I shake anything I pick up off the floor, and I am WAY too scared to get close enough to kill a fair sized spider (aka anything bigger than 1mmx1mm haha). I definitely use the bug spray as well and just spray the crap out of it til it shrivels and dies...at which point I am very happy but still too scared to get close enough to dispose of it's dead body so I wait til boyfriend comes home (what are boyfriends for?)! I hate them.
