Music makes my world a better place.
That's why I was so happy to see Natalie and Kailyn's email informing me about their Weekly Dish Tuesday link up. This week's theme was coined, "Mixtape Madness," and it's all about what we've been listening to lately.
So in middle school I used to be absolutely obsessed with Blink 182 and New Found Glory. I went to so many concerts, crowd surfed, caught guitar picks, and even got in a mosh pit fight once. I had an absolute blast with my friends jumping to the beat, rocking out, and feeling like a bad ass.
About a week ago I decided to start up an Offspring station on Pandora, and let me tell you, it gets better every day. I don't even care how many weird looks I get for blasting and singing along to it in my office at work, it's the shiz. (Yes, shiz is still a commonly used word, and I don't plan on axing it from my vocabulary just yet, in case you were wondering.)

LOVE THIS! I was and still am completely obsessed with blink. along with say anything, nfg, brand new, tbs, etc. Good stuff!

ReplyDeleteLove it! I have a pretty varied taste in music, and as much as I love Taylor Swift, I have an Offspring playlist on my Pandora as well :) Sublime and Blink 182 are two of my very favorite bands too!

ReplyDeleteOoh I miss the days of mixed tapes! I should make some iTunes playlists - that's almost the same. Still, there was something awesome about waiting all day by the radio until your favorite song came on… only to accidentally get some of the DJ's talking on your mix. Lol.
