Why LuLaRoe Rocks My Curves...


Let me just say... I'm loving this skirt. It's so comfortable, wearable, and makes me feel special because it's a size SMALL! I'm never a Small! I'm always a Large in every item of clothing I purchase. Why? Because I've got curves and an extra layer of cushion - I always have to worry about fitting to flatter my body shape. High cut tops? Bleh. Tank tops without a cardigan? No way. Super skin tight top? A rare happening. Bikini? Hellllll no... 

I love my body type and my curves, but I admit I haven't been paying close attention to my health, working out, or what I eat for a while now, and it started to weigh on my confidence over the holidays. Not the best feeling. Spanx only got me so far before I started to burst out of my skinnies, so Josh and I have both decided to make healthier choices this year.

I haven't started a workout regimen yet (unless you count random spurts of made up dance routines in front of the mirror) but I've been eating breakfast for a change, snacking on fruits and veggies, I bring a salad for lunch every day instead of ordering Jimmy John's, I keep portions under control, and try not to eat past 7PM. Though I haven't noticed a big change yet, I can already feel the difference in my energy, attitude, confidence, and that overall happy feeling of making better decisions.

  11. i think i've said it before but i find you incredibly pretty!!gorgeous face and well form curves, nothing to be ashame about. but i'm happy that youa re taking more care of youself. it's always good and being healthy is all that matters at the end!

    everyone is talking about 30day shred. i'm even foing it myself. if you guy to the youtub channel befit you will find tons of things to do for workouts. they work!short but intense.

  13. #1 Your hair.... AMAZING!!!!! Your length has caught up to mine -_- which just proves that my hair takes forever to grow.

    #2 I feel you about the whole weight thing. Actually what's funny is that as I started reading this post I was wondering if you wore bikinis. Something I question myself about almost every day because I too have the curves and chest. Thanks for being open about it. Being healthy is something I constantly struggle with and I decided this year that I want to get off that roller coaster.

  21. I love how they fit your curves! This totally gives me hope. I'm pear shaped and very curvy on the bottom, but after two kids, my tummy around my belly button just hasn't gone back to normal. I love the idea of a skirt that will flatter my curves and look so comfy for my post-baby (and post c-section) tummy.
